Ellen Tomasiewicz, Principal Horn

Ellen Tomasiewicz earned a B.M. degree from Princeton University and a M.M. degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She formerly performed as principal horn for the Nova Filharmonia Portuguese in Lisbon, Portugal.  Chamber music experience includes the Manhattan Wind Quintet of New York.  She has participated in summer festivals at Tanglewood, Los Angeles, Sarasota (New College), Yale University and Aspen.  Tomasiewicz has been featured as a soloist on recordings in Portugal and for CBS in the United States.  Her most recent recording is a CD of premieres and commissions entitled When Angels Speak with the Manhattan Wind Quintet on the Albany Records label.

Tracy Leonard, Assistant Principal/Second Horn

Tracy Leonard moved to Naples in 1990 from Miami, where she performed with the New World Symphony for one year. Previously she traveled in the United States and Europe with tours of The King and I, Into the Woods and West Side Story. A native of New Jersey, Leonard obtained her B.M. degree from Indiana University and her M.M. degree from the Juilliard School. Leonard has performed with the Meridian Arts Ensemble, the National Orchestra of New York, the New York String Orchestra and the Jupiter Symphony. Leonard was on a leave of absence during the 1995-96 season to play the national tour of Phantom of the Opera.
